Thank You All!
Today's hectic lifestyle seems to put healthy nutrition
on the back burner for old and young alike. Parents are
often too occupied to think about planning and preparing
meals and like their youngsters, find snacks and fast
foods too convenient to pass up. We procrastinate the
exercise and diet changes .
But, as a nation, our immune systems are weaker; stroke,
cancer, diabetes and heart disease continues to climb,
and we areoverweight . Americans spend more than $33 billion
a year on weight-loss products and services, the economic
cost of obesity in the United States was about $117 billion
in 2000. Age degenerative symptoms are showing up at much
younger ages. On the other end of the spectrum, the elderly,
often tired of not getting answers from doctors, may try
a shotgun approach using old, confusing and misinformation,
often taking inappropriate action.
We want to take more responsibility for our own well-being
and are tempted to look for only solutions, just as the
medical profession often gives prescriptions for symptoms.
A more holistic approach is to look at the power of healing
amongst ourselves by activating your own vital life source;
and that is regular exercise, healthy dietary habits and
stress management. I am happy that you chose to stay healthy
by doing all the right things. We all know that we will
not live for ever but we do know that we will have a good
quality of life by doing what we do and being a mentor
to people around us.
Till I can find a better word than “thanks” for expressing
my appreciation, please accept my heartiest thanks for
helping us celebrate the 1st Anniversary of Springfield
Health & Fitness Center which is made successful by
you and for you.
