Exercise: Brain Food?
By Chris Hall/Peggy Winnenberg

In the June ’02 issue of Trends in Neurosciences researches published findings that exercise is also good for your brain.

Of course the study was performed on… yes, rats! The rats that exercised were more likely to have healthy brains when compared with those that did not exercise. The researchers found molecular changes in the part of the brain controlling thinking and learning. It is thought that exercise might play an important role against deterioration from Alzheimer’s disease.
We wish you all happy holidays.
