Exercise: Brain Food?

In the June ’02 issue of Trends in Neurosciences
researches published findings that exercise is also
good for your brain.
Of course the study was performed on…
yes, rats! The rats that exercised were more likely
to have healthy brains when compared with those
that did not exercise. The researchers found molecular
changes in the part of the brain controlling thinking
and learning. It is thought that exercise might
play an important role against deterioration from
Alzheimer’s disease.
