Exercise and Arthritis
By Chris Hall / Peggy Winnenberg If you have arthritis, it is extremely
important to develop some type of exercise program which will keep your joints
mobile and flexible and also decrease pain.
Studies show that patients
who participated in an exercise program decreased pain, decreased their disability
level and increased their walking ability. Those in the control group, who did
no exercise, showed no improvement. If you have heart disease and arthritis, the
need is even greater. Not only to maintain joint movement, but to prevent future
heart occurrences, exercise is a must. 0-90 %. | | |
